Wild Fancy

Today Virginia rode Fancy, but Fancy was quite bad! She bucked quite a few times and I managed to get some photos of them. Luckily, Virginia didn't fall off.

After taking Snap and Manny on a walk today, Amelia suggested that we let them play in the ring. So we put them in the ring and soon they were galloping around and play-fighting. It was really funny and

Pacific Spirit

Today we went to Pacific Spirit Park with Amelia despite the rain. We saw lots of slugs and mushrooms, and we heard lots of birds. It was quite wet but fortunately not too cold.

New Arrival

A month ago Manny, the mini horse, left to get acquainted with another miniature horse named Snap. Today they both came back and Snap is getting used to the barn and Manny is happy to be home. Snap is so cute and we are really happy that they are both here.

Reifel Bird Sanctuary

Today our mom took us to Reifel Bird Sanctuary on Westham Island in Delta. We saw lots of birds including canada geese, mallards, yellowlegs, a dowitcher, sandhill cranes, a dove, and many other birds.

Sleepover!

Last night we had a sleepover at Amelia's(our riding instructor and friend) house, but at first we got take-out sushi and had a picnic at the beach. We had lots of fun and can't wait to do it again. When we got back to the house we changed into our PJ's before watching TV and then going to bed.

Natural Horsemanship

Today Virginia decided to ride Fancy bareback. She walked, trotted and cantered, and then got off to do Natural Horsemanship. She played games like Friendly and Yoyo and then trotted Fancy. Then both  Virginia and I practised vaulting Fancy and we sat backwards on her while the other led Fancy around at a walk.

Grouse Grind

Today we did the Grouse Grind with our mom. It took us 1 hour and 23 minutes. I was really hard but fun. When we got to the top in was raining so we had lunch and took the gondola down. It was very tiring.

Van Dusen Garden

Today we went to Van Dusen Garden with our Grandma and Grandpa. We walked around some of the lakes and ponds, viewing the gardens and wildlife, and then went to White Spot for lunch.

Banff National Park

We recently went to Banff National Park. We got back on August 10th. It was amazing and we saw so many cool animals. We saw Bighorn sheep, elk, mule deer, white tailed deer, a black bear, ground squirrels, chipmunks, pikas and birds! We had a great time and hope to go back sometime!
